Security Consultant with flair for advanced technologies
Security is not a product, but a process. (Bruce Schneier)
We are looking for a skilled Security Consultant able to manage security solutions at all stages: research, design, implementation and support.
It is perfectly fine that you have not heard of us, we are discreet through the nature of our work. SecuriPax is a consultancy house with over 16 years of experience helping clients in the Danish public and private sectors. Information security is not just a service we provide; it is our commitment to our client organisations, for whom data security is the utmost priority. Our headquarters are in the heart of Jutland, where we are a team of dedicated consultants who have transformed our passion for IT security into a job. In terms of skillset, we bridge strong technical background and sound understanding of organisational strategy. We are always looking to grow and support our clients better – and that is where you come in the picture.
About the job
The position requires strong technical skills and good communication skills. Your core task is to design and maintain security solutions that fit a client’s needs and security environment. You will foster relations with clients and be perceived as a ’Trusted Advisor’ and immediate source of help when a problem arises. You need to be able to see a solution through, from design to implementation and support.
You will be working on:
- Designing and implementing security solutions: NGFW, SIEM, E-mail security (D’MARC, DKIM, SPF), IAM, hardening systems and applications;
- Configuring network security devices, and monitoring network performance
- Customer service, in writing and orally
- Researching and testing security solutions, and making client recommendations
- Review and assessment of a client’s security architecture
- Writing documentation for solutions and implementation procedures
You will be collaborating with our technical team in delivering and implementing security solutions.
We are a growing company, and in this position, you can make your mark on both the company and your career. There is plenty of room for personal and professional development. You will take part in our internal Dialoquium training programme, and have the chance to undertake external certifications.
You have an educational background in data engineering, computer science, or similar. Or, you may have a different educational background and have achieved the required skills and competences in other contexts.
In any case, you demonstrate a solid understanding of information technology, and have a track record in working with IT systems and networks, or server solutions for enterprises.
As we custom make security solutions for our clients, you ideally have experience designing and implementing security solutions involving both commercial and open-source products.
Knowledge and experience with programming and scripting languages is a strong plus.
You are a natural problem solver and fond of working your way through complex issues to come up with the best available solution. It is important that you enjoy this process, as we are not keen on doing quick fixes.
It is equally important that you are a good communicator who can help customers at any stage of the security process.
While you are self-driven and independent in your work, you are essentially a team player who is ready to learn from others and collaborate in delivering the best for our clients.
